Paul Agostinelli, Product and Marketing Lead: co-founded Kaivo Technology with $2.75M in venture funding (2000). Has been working with early stage companies and emerging technologies for over a decade. B.A. Physics (Dartmouth College), M.A. English (U. of Chicago), Mellon Fellowship in Humanities supported graduate work in literary analysis and genre theory. Author of four unproduced screenplays and a novel in progress.

Mark Schroeder, Product/Marketing/Partnerships: founded three internet companies, all of which have been acquired. M.A. Comparative Literature (Columbia University); award-winning Lecturer in the Humanities (U. of Colorado); winner of multiple awards for software development. Author of The Book of Margery Kempe, a semi-finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. Recipient of the Grand Prize from the New York Screen Play Competition and a Silver Award from the American Movie Awards for his TV Pilot, TrainHoppers.

Ray Agostinelli, Product Design: Former CIO of Fair Health, Inc. Previously co-founded Kaivo Technology; designed Home&Abroad’s Fogglight Travel Platform, a winner of the Innovation Award at the industry-leading PhocusWright Travel Technology Summit.  B.A. Physics and Philosophy (Dartmouth College). Author of The Holding Company Loves You, a quarter-finalist in the 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award.

James Barnett, Lead Engineer: 25 years as a principal technologist and developer for software and high-tech industries. Primary architect and developer in five previous start-ups. A recipient of the Innovation Award at the industry-leading PhocusWright Travel Technology Summit (2011). BS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. Jazz afficionado and lover of short stories.

Wes Simmons, Senior Engineer: Wes Simmons has 20+ years as a Senior-level Architect, Designer, and Developer. His experience ranges from firmware to web applications and multi-tier distributed systems. He has designed and developed web-based enterprise applications and provided software architectural design for clients large and small.  Experienced in Java, C++, and C, he has a bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Wyoming.

Brad Armstrong, Product/Marketing/Partnership/Funding: Brad holds an AB in English from Stanford and an MFA in fiction writing, and has worked in book publishing in editorial and sales at Viking Penguin.  He has been an investor in socially responsible businesses, equities, and progressive non-profits for 25 years.  He has a few books (old school) in the drawer.  Find My Audience offers the opportunity to weave all these various threads and interests together and tilt at a problem that exists in the old and new publishing worlds.

Thomas Mims, Art Direction/Graphics: Thomas is an award-winning illustrator, animator, and web designer. With over 15 years of experience in UI, graphic, and information design, his focus is on producing sharp, standards-compliant media with creative flair. His work has been featured at Adobe’s Best of the Southwest User Conference and the Boulder Fringe Festival. He has created custom multimedia content for HP, Microsoft, Sprint, and TimeWarner Cable.

  1. Good luck with this venture! Writing a novel [it seems] was the easy part; finding its audience [and visa-versa] is the problem.
